Gregg Boalch has some 30 years experience in ICT, practicing in Australia, SE Asia and the UK.

Over that period, he held a number of senior/executive positions, including -

  • IS Manager in TV & radio
  • National IS Manager for an Australian retail chain
  • Principal Consultant for a global consulting organisation
  • e-Commerce Manager within a national IT services company
  • Director of a software house in the finance sector

As a principal consultant, Gregg has undertaken many projects, including the development of

Gregg's research interests are

  • the factors affecting the successful adoption of new technologies and innovations in the areas of e-Business, e-Health and e-Government.
  • performance measurement of outsourced development and operations
  • effective change management

He has a significant publication list over a 20 year period, and was until recently Adjunct Senior Fellow with the Graduate School of Business at Curtin University of Technology, where he lectured on Strategic Information Management and e-Business for Strategic Advantage at the Perth City campus, as well as running Masters classes in Singapore and Hong Kong.

Gregg was recently elected Fellow with the Australian Computer Society, was foundation Chair of the WA ICT Industry Collaboration Centre and sits on thr WA Board of the Australian Computer Society (WA). Gregg also sits on a number of toursim-related Boards, inclusing the Swan Valley Tourism Council.

Gregg understands the issues facing today's businesses, as well as opportunities and challenges that these emerging technologies present to business leaders. He sees his role as assisting business identify what is possible and sustainable, and then determining how the business can achieve the goals it sets itself - in other words, to articulate and achieve the vision.

Gregg is the director of Falls Valley's Strategic Business/IS Consulting practice.
